As early as in 2005, BMW introduced the BMW Children’s Traffic Safety Education Camp into China and became the first automobile enterprise to have relevant philanthropic practice. Up to now, the project has been carried out in 63 cities in China, benefiting more than 390,000 people. With 12 years of history, the BMW Children’s Traffic Safety Education Camp will adopt “pay-it-forward for children’s traffic safety” as the theme for 2016 to carry out all-round innovation in the activity form and content. In the next five months, the Camp will be launched in the cities of Hefei, Shanghai, Shenyang, Wuhan and Foshan. Moreover, as part of the celebration of BMW’s 100th anniversary, it will build a traffic safety experience hall for children in Shenyang.
