This is a product designed at the time of VIVO’s transformation from being music-oriented brand to a photography-oriented brand. In response to the continuously changing demands of customers, VIVO has evolved itself to cater to the growing demands for quality photography from customers, and adopted “Illuminate your beauty” as its publicity slogan. VIVO invited 9 artists and photographers from diverse backgrounds, including Li Xiaoliang, Xue Lei, number 233, Chen Zhe, Fan Xin, Huang Jing, Jiang Nan, Xiong Xiaomo and You Li, to complete in a cross-sector “Selfie Experiment”. Using the X9 front lens, 9 artistic selfies styles and 81 pieces of unique selfie artworks were produced. The concept of selfies was re-invented as more than a mere daily act, and was elevated into an artistic way of life.
