Taobao of Alibaba Group created a grand annual event focusing on the young generation and creativity. The three-day carnival event featured a series of creative technology, art, music and other creative projects to showcase the creativity of the new Chinese generation. The Taobao 2016 Carnival was divided into three sections, “T”, “A” and “O”. The “T” area offered a black technology experience; the “A” area featured a stage for the young generation to showcase their on-stage performances; and the “O” was a workshop for transformative experiences. In mobile Taobao’s own live stream, the event was viewed more than 10 million times and received more than 200 million Likes.
